Network Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in networking, routing & switching, and firewall/security management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in enterprise network infrastructure, troubleshooting, and security operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Networking:

Manage, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise routing & switching environments using Cisco and Meraki devices.

Strong understanding of networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.

Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, STP, Port Channels, MTU, and asymmetric routing issues.

Perform packet capture, traffic analysis, and network performance troubleshooting.

Monitor network stability, availability, and optimize network performance.

Security & Firewall Management:

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama.

Hands-on experience with FMC (Firewall Management Center).

Implement and manage NAT policies, firewall rules, and traffic flow analysis.

Analyze security incidents and troubleshoot firewall/network-related issues.

Ensure network security compliance and best practices are followed.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in Cisco and Meraki networking environments.

Expertise in routing & switching concepts and protocols.

Good experience with Palo Alto Firewall administration.

Knowledge of Panorama and FMC tools.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Experience in packet analysis tools like Wireshark is preferred.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in enterprise-level network environments.

Exposure to cloud networking and security concepts is an added advantage.

Relevant networking/security certifications are preferred.
