Job Description (JD)

Education and Experience Required:

8 to 10 years of professional experience in telecom/IT operations.

Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.

L2: TeMIP

Working knowledge of TeMIP for fault and event management.

Basics of Linux: command-line proficiency, system navigation, basic scripting (shell/awk/sed).

Strong understanding of telecom OSS and alarm flow from EMS (Element Management System) to NMS.

Ability to perform routine system health checks, including TeMIP process and service monitoring.

Capable of conducting first-level analysis on faults/incidents reported.

Handling P2/P3/P4 customer incidents, adhering to defined SLAs.

L2: UCA

Hands-on with UCA platform for alarm correlation and fault data aggregation.

Ability to start/stop Valuepack services, collect logs, and analyze log outputs for troubleshooting.

L2: OpenNMS / UTM / UOC / EDB / SAP BO

Assist in the configuration of new devices in OpenNMS, MIB Loading, ensuring proper data flow and correlation.

Investigate and resolve L2-level issues related to device discovery, event generation, data collection, and SNMP polling. Escalate unresolved or critical issues to L3 teams with a detailed analysis.

Experience with EDB (Event Database) handling and analysis.

Willingness and ability to work in rotational shifts (24/7 support environment).
