Role: Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer
Engagement Type: Contract (6 Months, Possible Extension)
Work Module Hybrid
Location: Anywhere (Bengaluru/ Pune/ Gurgaon/ Hyderabad)
Shift Timing: 11 AM to 8 PM
Experience Required: 5+ years
Job Description: Senior Data Engineer with strong Microsoft Fabric AWS Fabric experience
Key skills: Fabric Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, Real-Time Analytics, Power BI integration.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Design, build, and optimize end-to-end data solutions on Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Engineering, Data Factory pipelines, Synapse, Power BI integration) using Python and SQL.
- Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and PySpark notebooks to ingest, transform, and curate structured and unstructured data, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Implement robust data modeling, governance, and security (Purview/lineage, access controls), with data quality rules, monitoring, and alerting across Fabric workspaces.
- Translate business requirements into reusable datasets, semantic models, and data products; partner with analysts and stakeholders to drive insights and self-service analytics.
- Integrate with Snowflake: expose and consume datasets via Fabric/Azure connectors, handle schema mapping between VARIANT/JSON and relational tables, and tune data loads and queries for reliable performance.
