Mechanical Drafter

A Mechanical Draftsman is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems based on specifications provided by engineers and designers. The role ensures accuracy, clarity, and compliance with industry standards.

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA
• Develop assembly drawings, part drawings, and layouts
• Interpret engineering sketches, concepts, and specifications
• Ensure drawings include accurate dimensions, tolerances, and materials
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback or design changes
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings
• Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and quality departments
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering / Drafting
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA)
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawing standards and symbols
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents
• Basic problem-solving and communication skills

• 02 years for junior draftsman
• 35+ years for senior-level roles

• Office-based with computer-aided design tools
• May involve coordination with production or site teams

• Experienced: 25-35k
