Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for an experienced, talented and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our team of engineers.

The primary role will be to conceptualize, visualize, design, develop and detail - Skid based Oil and Gas, Process and Industrial Equipment. You will supervise the development and execution of the entire design for various projects.

You will collaborate with the design and fabrication teams on various projects. You must have an in-depth knowledge of the latest design trends and engineering software.

Experience with design of Process Equipment like Pressure Vessels, Pump Packages, Associated Instrumentation etc is a prerequisite. Understanding of ANSI Codes, NORSOK regulations etc will be an advantage.

In addition to being a good communicator, all candidates should be creative thinkers with excellent problem-solving skills.

The chosen engineer should be self-motivated and willing to take responsibility for the design of the equipment and be willing to lead projects independently.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Complete Equipment Design
• Create 3 D Models
• Create Fabrication, Machining, Weldment and other Drawings as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of industry experience - Oil & Gas, Refining, Heavy Equipment - specifically in the design of process equipment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and computer-aided design etc
• Strong understanding and experience in Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D Modelling Software
• Exceptional Attention to Detail - ability to work unsupervised - show initiative and take responsibility for quality of design
