PURPOSE OF ROLE

Under Armour is seeking a highly motivated MDM Analyst to join our Enterprise Data Management & Analytics team. This role supports the execution and maintenance of master data processes within SAP, ensuring accurate, consistent, and well governed data across key domains such as Article, Site, and Pricing. The MDM Analyst follows established data standards, supports data quality and governance activities, and assists with issue resolution across systems. You will collaborate closely with Senior Analysts, Business Teams, IT, Automation & AI partners, and Data Governance to maintain high quality master data that enables reliable business operations and decision making. The role contributes to process improvements, supports data validation and cleansing activities, and ensures that master data changes follow documented procedures and compliance requirements. Governed data across key domains such as Article, Site, and Pricing. The MDM Analyst follows established data standards, supports data quality and governance activities, and assists with issue resolution across systems. You will collaborate closely with Senior Analysts, Business Teams, IT, Automation & AI partners, and Data Governance to maintain high quality master data that enables reliable business operations and decision making.


YOUR IMPACT (Job Responsibilities)

  • Execute master data management (MDM) processes within the SAP environment, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to governance standards across assigned domains.
  • Maintain and update SAP master data objects (Article, Site, Pricing, etc.) following established procedures and business rules.
  • Follow defined data governance standards, policies, and data quality guidelines to support enterprise data integrity.
  • Collaborate with senior analysts and cross functional partners to resolve data issues and support ongoing data initiatives.
  • Assist Business Process Owners, IT, and functional teams with data-related activities and process improvements.
  • Support data migration, cleansing, and validation tasks during SAP rollouts, enhancements, or maintenance cycles.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate data standards, audit requirements, and regulatory expectations.
  • Prepare routine reports and data quality summaries to support monitoring of master data performance.
  • Coordinate with SAP functional teams (MM, SD, FI, PP) to align master data updates with system configuration and process needs.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree with typically 2 years of related experience or Masters degree without experience or typically 6 years of relevant experience without degree.
  • 13+ years of experience in master data, data operations, or an ERP related systems role.
  • Experience executing and maintaining SAP master data (Article, Site, Pricing) with strong attention to accuracy and governance.
  • Working knowledge of data management and data quality principles, with ability to investigate and resolve data issues.
  • Ability to collaborate with senior analysts, business teams, and SAP functional areas (MM, SD, FI, PP) to support data activities and process needs.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to support reporting, documentation, and cross functional coordination.
  • Basic proficiency in SQL or other query tools for data checks, validations, and reporting.
  • Preferred: Experience with SAP ERP and foundational knowledge of SAP master data concepts.


WORKPLACE LOCATION

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our office.
  • Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week
