Manufacturing Engineer

About Us

Posha is building robot kitchens for the future.

Our first product, the Posha Countertop was recognized as one of TIMEs Best Inventions of 2025 and received rave reviews from The Verge and WIRED for bringing robotics and AI into everyday kitchens.

Were a fast-growing Series Afunded startup backed by Accel Partners and were just getting started.

What can I expect from this role?

Posha is one of the rare robotics startups building production-grade consumer robots, with hundreds of units deployed in real homes.

You own the process of manufacturing. (QA owns the outcome.) You'll be based in Bengaluru with extended rotations in China, reporting to Shardul.

What will my work responsibilities look like if I join Posha?

• You'll decide how every part gets made and change the design so it can be. Sheet metal, castings and plastics.
• Reviewing our drawings for DFM and DFA, and winning the argument with the design engineer when the part needs to change.
• You'll be on our contract manufacturer's floor in China, with their operators and their equipment, getting a process set up while holding no formal authority over anyone in it. That's the hard part of this job.
• You'll turn our assembly instructions into work instructions that actually hold.

What makes you a match for us?

1. Manufacturing or process engineering at a company that ships its own product.
2. NPI experience: you've taken a new product from a drawing set into production, not just kept an existing line running
3. Willing to spend extended stretches on a factory floor in China

What The World Thinks of Posha

• Posha is comparable to Tesla FSD
• Posha is a fairly good sign that the future is closer than I thought - The Verge
• Poshas tagline is See dinner cook itself, and it largely lives up to this. - WIRED

Why Posha?

• Few organizations offer challenges similar to ours. Building completely autonomous cooking robots requires thinking from first principles and building from ground up.
• We believe that Posha is a generational company with the opportunity to alter the trajectory of how food is cooked inside homes today. This opportunity is parallel to how autonomous cars have made an impact.
• This role will be at the forefront of this opportunity.
