Job Description
Job Purpose:
Complete management of Store Operations; planning & Execution of day-day Operations to ensure proper control over stores, material movements, ensure accountability, Inventory and stock management to prevent Stock - outs or excess inventory. Maintain inventory by implementing purchasing plans and staying in contact with Buyers & PPC.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Managing Stores:
- Responsible for receipt of Material and inward on time.
- Responsible for effective management of Stock, Material storage.
- Follow FIFO and issue material for Production based on Production requirement.
- Responsible for inventory control and management.
- Responsible for Dispatch kit issued based on customer requirement.
- Responsible for KANBAN system and effective operation.
- Responsible for Material follow-up for direct/In direct material and on time Receipt / Outward of the same.
- Effective utilization of manpower at department.
- Responsible for Safety at Department
- Responsible for Rejection handling and send back to vendor.
- Involve Kiazen activity and continues Improvement.
- Responsible for Check the Bom & Update.
- Responsible for Stock Transfer from warehouse to warehouse in SAP for stock consuming purpose.
- Responsible for order and maintain the consumables, safety & Welding items.
- Inventory Management
- Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels
- Evaluates deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.
- Analysis daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
- Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency and personnel issues to upper management
- Quarterly Physical count taken & reconciliation of stock.
- Strengthening the Level of Min, Max.
- Utilization & control over Non-moving inventory.
- Material aging above 90 days has to be discussed & utilized.
- Internal & External Communication:
- Ensure Day to Day Production Plan communication with Team.
- Discuss with Buyer & PPC Team for Material Hold up.( less than Min stock )
- Mail communication with Buyer regarding Consumables & Paint Requirements.
- Co-ordinate with workers about Daily work Plan.
- Communication with quality team regarding checking of dispatch kit.
- Discussions with co-worker regarding new development/new vehicle requirement.
- Communication with sales team regarding Customer Vehicle in warding.
- Communication with Buyer regarding Job work reconciliation.
- Mail communication with service team regarding material lying at Customer end.
- Documentation :
- Maintain the day to day material Issued Production order copy.
- Maintain the Hard copy of Additional material issued with Approval.
- Maintain the Physical verification count sheet & reconciliation sheet.( Quarterly )

Formal Education Requirements, as applicable:
Diploma Mechanical Engineering preferably with Stores Management Course.
Years of relevant Experience needed:
Minimum experience of 10+ years in Store Operations.
