Senior Private Cloud Engineer / Lead (69 Years) Senior Private Cloud Engineer / Lead (69 Years Experience) Role: L3 Engineer / Technical Lead Role Summary Leads design validation, sizing, and end-to-end implementation of Private Cloud platforms. Owns solution build, migrations, and operational excellence. Guides junior engineers and interacts with customers. Key Responsibilities Perform cloud assessment and capacity planning Design compute, storage, network, and virtualization architecture Size environments based on workloads (CPU, RAM, IOPS, throughput) Deploy clusters and automate provisioning Implement DR and backup strategies (RPO/RTO based) Lead POCs and migrations to Private Cloud Implement container platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes) Create HLD/LLD and operational procedures Drive performance tuning and optimization Mentor L2 engineers Required Skills Strong in: o SDDC architecture principles o VMware/Nutanix cluster design o Storage design (IOPS modelling, tiering) o Networking (leaf-spine, VXLAN, NSX concepts) o Backup & DR architecture o Linux/Windows server engineering Hands-on automation (Ansible/Terraform/PowerCLI) Container orchestration (OpenShift/Kubernetes) Troubleshooting complex infra issues Experience 69 years infrastructure/virtualization/cloud 34 years in architecture or design roles Certifications (Preferred) VCAP / Nutanix NCP / RHCE / CKA
