Litigation Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Manager & Contract Specialist with 6+ years of hands-on experience in litigation management and contract drafting. Based in Mumbai, this role will manage high-stakes litigation, draft and negotiate complex contracts, and provide strategic legal support to minimize risk and enable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end litigation, including strategy, filings, negotiations, settlements, and court appearances
• Liaise with police, courts, lawyers, and legal stakeholders to gather evidence and drive case progress
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts (NDAs, service agreements, vendor contracts, etc.)
• Advise internal stakeholders on compliance, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution
• Conduct investigations and extract critical information from all relevant sources
• Coordinate with external counsel and monitor litigation progress
• Prepare case updates and reports for senior management
• Conduct legal research and develop strategies for favorable outcomes
• Ensure compliance with Indian laws (Contract Act, CPC, Arbitration Act, etc.)
• Mentor junior team members and improve litigation and contract processes

Qualifications

• LLB from a recognized university (LLM preferred)
• 6+ years of experience in litigation management and contract drafting
• Proven experience handling cases from inception to resolution, including court representation
• Strong experience interacting with police, courts, and legal authorities
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills with strong risk assessment ability
• In-depth knowledge of Indian civil/criminal laws and dispute resolution mechanisms
• Bar Council of India membership
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in English and Hindi; Marathi preferred
• Working knowledge of MS Office and legal research tools (CaseMine, Manupatra, etc.)
