Lead Ruby on Rails Developer

Location: Pune, India (Hybrid)

Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Technical Lead in Ruby on Rails) who is hands-on and can also guide a small team. Youll be responsible for designing scalable systems, mentoring developers, and contributing to core platform development.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design discussions for new features
• Develop scalable applications and APIs (REST / GraphQL)
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
• Mentor team members and support onboarding
• Troubleshoot complex issues and improve system performance
• Collaborate with product and leadership teams

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development
• Strong hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, React (or similar stack)
• Solid understanding of system design, architecture, and design patterns
• Experience in full-stack development and API design
• Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Cloud (AWS/Azure)

Requirements

• Ability to work in Eastern Time Zone (ET)
• Experience working in remote/distributed teams
