About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Embedded Hardware & Power Engineer to own the end-to-end electrical architecture of next-gen autonomous robots. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will define system topology, power systems, and safety architecture from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Define electrical & power architecture for robotic systems
• Design Battery Management Systems (BMS), inverters & charging systems
• Lead PCB design & reviews (high-current routing, thermal, EMI/EMC)
• Architect Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing strategy
• Build hardware-based safety systems (E-stop, fail-safe architecture)
• Drive regulatory compliance (UL, CE, FCC)
• Manage manufacturing & vendor (CM) relationships
• Lead and mentor hardware engineering teams

Key Requirements

• 8+ years in Embedded Hardware / Power Electronics
• Strong expertise in high-voltage DC/AC systems
• Hands-on experience with PCB design (Altium preferred)
• Deep knowledge of EMI/EMC mitigation techniques
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C)
• Proven experience in regulatory certifications (UL, CE, FCC)
• Strong leadership & system design experience

Preferred Skills

• Experience in EV / Aerospace / Heavy Machinery industries
• Exposure to functional safety standards (ISO 13849, IEC 61508)
