About PARSEC (Param Science Experience Centres)

PARSEC is part of the Param ecosystem - an experiential platform integrating Science and Innovation, Culture and History, into immersive public engagement.

Role Overview

This role has direct responsibility for the monthly visitor foot-fall through ticket sales, across ParSEC centres. This is a field-intensive, on-ground engagement & sales role.


Key Responsibilities

Institutional & Corporate Partnerships (Core Focus)
  • Build and manage partnerships with schools, colleges, universities, and corporates
  • Drive group visits, learning programmes, and corporate experiences at PARSEC centres
  • Position PARSEC as a preferred destination for institutional and corporate visits
  • Strengthen repeat engagement through ongoing relationships
Visitor Growth & Channel Development
  • Develop ticketing bundles, pricing approaches, and visitor conversion strategies
  • Build and manage channels that consistently drive bookings and footfall
  • Work with partners that directly contribute to visitor inflow (institutions, corporates, tourism networks)
  • Track pipeline and ensure follow-through to confirmed visits


Field Outreach & Partnerships (On-ground Role)
  • Visit and engage regularly with schools, colleges, organisations, and partners
  • Conduct presentations to introduce PARSEC programmes and experiences
  • Build partnerships with travel agencies, tour operators, and hotels to drive visitor groups
  • Ensure consistent outreach that converts into group visits and footfall
Tracking, Reporting & Conversion
  • Maintain a structured record of outreach activities, institutional engagements, and partner interactions. Track progression from outreach confirmed bookings completed visits.
  • Provide regular updates on active pipeline, upcoming visits and partner status & share periodic summaries of outreach effectiveness.
  • Ensure visibility on key partnerships, conversion progress and scheduled programs.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 6+ years of experience in Event sales, Visitor Acquisition, Business development or Institutional sales.
  • Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred, with relevant experience.
  • Strong experience in B2B or group sales environments
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Ability to structure sales processes and manage pipelines.
  • Being multilingual is an added advantage.

Role Context

This role is central to how PARSEC builds and sustains institutional relationships while enabling steady visitor participation across centres. It requires a hands-on, field-driven approach combined with individual & team contributor with consistent delivery of ticketed footfall and engagement outcomes.
