Role Overview
As a Lab Technician Intern Electrical / Mechanical, you will support the engineering team in day-to-day lab operations, assembly, testing, validation, and documentation. This role is ideal for someone who likes practical work, is disciplined about cleanliness and documentation, and wants to learn how prototypes and test systems are developed in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support lab work, assembly, and setup of test devices and engineering prototypes
- Assist in testing and validation of products, sub-systems, and experimental setups
- Help the team run experiments and record observations accurately
- Operate and monitor test cycles as per defined procedures
- Keep equipment, tools, and work areas clean, organized, and lab-ready
- Support service and installation activities as required
- Prepare test reports, lab reports, and observation logs
- Document manufacturing instructions, work instructions, and test instructions
- Help maintain basic inventory of tools, fixtures, consumables, and test materials
- Coordinate with engineers to ensure smooth execution of lab and field activities
