We're hiring an IP Scriptwriter to build the next generation of kids' IPs - made for YouTube.

About the Role

We're building original live-action IPs in the lineage of Shakalaka Boom Boom, Son Pari, Shararat, and Hatim - reimagined for the YouTube generation. Characters with rules. Powers with limits. Stories that compound across hundreds of episodes.

This is a craft role. You'll create the characters, write the bibles, and shape the scripts that millions of kids watch every day. You'll work directly with the founders and creative leads. No layers, no committees.

If you grew up watching those shows - and you've spent your career writing for kids - this is the role you've been waiting for.

What you'll do

• Create original IP concepts - characters, world, tone, rule systems, story premise
• Write IP Bibles: character motivation, conflict, stakes, emotional arc, episode format
• Develop scripts optimised for YouTube watch behaviour - hooks, beats, payoff
• Test whether a character can sustain a long-running IP, not just a single story
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and the creative team end to end

Who we're looking for

• You've written live-action kids' content for ages 2-8 in India - TV, OTT, or YouTube
• You've created IP Bibles for original characters or series, not just episode scripts
• You think character-first: every story starts with who the character is, what they want, what stands in their way
• You understand that great kids' IPs are built on rule-based powers and built-in limitations - that's what makes them last
• You have a portfolio: scripts, bibles, pitches, produced work
• Storyteller first - you can defend an idea in a room

Bonus points if you've written for live-action Indian kids' TV, worked in a writers' room, or built content specifically for YouTube/short-form.
