Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
This role plays a critical part in enabling cost transparency, forecasting accuracy, and financial discipline across COGS and Manufacturing Overheads. It involves close collaboration with business teams including category managers, plant teams, and FP&A leadership to support key deliverables around cost planning, reporting, analysis, and building digital capability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Cost Governance & Operational Reviews
Lead cost governance routines across Finance and Operations teams.
Drive structured cost performance reviews with Operations leadership, ensuring accountability and transparency.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Collaborate with plant finance teams to develop annual overhead budgets and quarterly forecasts.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment of assumptions across manufacturing sites.
Financial Performance Monitoring
Monitor monthly budget vs. actual performance for manufacturing overheads.
Identify variances and cost overruns early and drive timely cost containment actions.
Prepare and analyze monthly manufacturing overhead reports by unit and cost category.
Provide insights on key cost drivers, trends, and deviations from approved budgets.
Risk & Opportunity Management
Conduct cadence based overhead reviews with clear insights and early flagging of risks and opportunities (R&O).
Communicate cost risks and opportunities across the value chain in a structured manner.
Cost Efficiency & Savings Initiatives
Drive cost saving initiatives across plants; track progress and validate delivered benefits.
Partner with operations team to identify new efficiency opportunities and enable execution.
Business Partnering & Management Reporting
Partner with cross functional teams to support business decisions with data driven insights.
Evaluate and track bottler manufacturing cost trends across units, identify variances, and report business implications
Lead preparation and delivery of management and business review presentations.

Operations Leadership Team, Factory finance teams and Other verticals of finance
EXTERNALLY:
Statutory Audit team

PROFILE DETAILS
QUALIFICATION:
- Chartered Accountant, 1st attempt with an experience of 2 -3 years Or
- MBA finance from a premier institute
FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:
Essential/Must-have:
- Expert level understanding of Indian accounting standards (Ind As) and tax rules
- Handled reporting & analysis, financial accounting & consolidation
- Business acumen & partnering
- Understanding of Processes & Information Systems
- Making effective (T A I) presentations (T- time bound , A-accuracy and I- impactful)
- Good command on MS-Office (Excel, Word and PPT) functions
Desirable/Good to have:
- Prior Experience in Alcobev Industry, Analytics background
