Job Title: Intern Routing/Security TAC (Networking Intern)

Location: Bangalore

Duration: 6 months (with potential full-time conversion)

networking, security, and real-world troubleshooting within a fast-paced TAC (Technical Assistance

Center) environment.


About the Role

As a TAC Intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers to learn how to troubleshoot

real-world networking and security issues in production environments. This role is designed to

provide strong hands-on exposure to routing, switching, Linux systems, and SD-WAN technologies.


Key Responsibilities

- Assist in troubleshooting routing and security-related issues under the guidance of senior

engineers

- Support replication of customer issues in lab environments

- Analyze logs and basic packet flows to understand network behavior

- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, QA) to investigate issues

- Contribute to documentation and knowledge base (KB) articles

- Learn and work with SD-WAN and network security technologies


Basic Qualifications

- B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related engineering

field

- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (OSI model, TCP/IP, subnetting)

- Familiarity with Linux fundamentals

- Exposure to networking concepts via coursework, labs, or certifications (CCNA, RHCSA)


Preferred Skills

- Hands-on lab experience (GNS3, EVE-NG, Packet Tracer)

- Basic understanding of OSPF/BGP

- Awareness of troubleshooting tools (ping, traceroute, tcpdump, Wireshark)

- Basic security knowledge (VPNs, firewalls)

- Exposure to Python or shell scripting
