Job Description

The Instructional Design Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the pedagogical strategy of the organization,

ensuring the delivery of high-quality learning experiences that align with the needs of a diverse audience, particularly

within U.S. academic institutions. This role requires expertise in instructional design principles, experience catering to

U.S. audiences, and the ability to leverage automation and innovative strategies to enhance productivity and maintain

world-class standards.


Key Responsibilities

1. Pedagogical Leadership:

Develop and implement instructional design frameworks that align with organizational goals and

cater to the unique learning styles of U.S.-based audiences.

Provide guidance on content development to ensure adherence to best practices in instructional

design.

Continuously research and apply emerging trends in pedagogy to improve learning outcomes.


2. Automation & Productivity Enhancement:

Identify opportunities for automation in instructional design processes to streamline workflows and

enhance efficiency.

Implement tools and technologies that improve productivity across the instructional design team.

Lead initiatives to standardize processes, ensuring consistency and scalability of learning

programs.


3. Cross-Audit and Quality Assurance:

Oversee the cross-auditing of programs to maintain quality, consistency, and adherence to

organizational and pedagogical standards.

Design and execute robust quality assurance processes to ensure all instructional materials meet

world-class benchmarks.

Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate feedback and continuously refine learning solutions.


4. Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with academic leaders, subject matter experts, and clients to understand their needs

and translate them into effective learning solutions.

Foster partnerships with U.S. universities and institutions to ensure programs are aligned with their

standards and expectations.


5. Team Development:

Mentor and train instructional design team members, fostering a culture of innovation and

excellence.

Promote professional development and encourage the adoption of advanced instructional design

techniques and tools.


Qualifications and Skills

Education: A Master's degree or higher in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum

Development, or a related field.

Experience:

At least 5-7 years of experience in instructional design, with a focus on U.S. university audiences.

Proven track record in managing instructional design teams and projects.

Technical Skills:

Deep knowledge of instructional design principles, methodologies, and learning theories.

Proficiency with e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, or similar) and Learning

Management Systems (LMS).

Familiarity with automation tools and technologies to streamline design processes.

Soft Skills:

Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt to changing priorities.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering world-class quality.
