Infrastructure Project Manager

About Position:

The Infrastructure Project Manager will lead end-to-end delivery of complex, customer-facing infrastructure programs. This role requires strong ownership of execution, governance, and stakeholder management while coordinating across internal technical teams and external vendors. The Infra PM will be accountable for delivering projects on time, within scope, and with high customer satisfaction across data center, cloud, network, and end-user computing initiatives.

What You'll Do:

• Act as the single point of contact for customers across infrastructure projects and programs
• Lead delivery of initiatives including data center transformations and migrations
• Manage cloud and hybrid infrastructure projects across Azure and AWS environments
• Drive network modernization projects covering LAN, WAN, WiFi, firewalls, and VPNs
• Deliver EUC, VDI/AVD, and endpoint modernization initiatives
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, security, and infrastructure tooling programs
• Translate customer requirements into detailed execution plans with milestones and dependencies
• Own customer communication, progress reviews, escalation handling, and expectation management
• Create and manage project plans, schedules, RAID logs, dependency tracking, and change control
• Run delivery governance including daily/weekly calls, action tracking, and risk reviews
• Provide executive-level status updates and reporting
• Ensure adherence to scope, schedule, cost, quality, and service commitments
• Lead cutover planning, execution, and post golive stabilization
• Coordinate with internal engineering, architecture, service desk, security, and leadership teams
• Manage thirdparty vendors and OEMs to align timelines and deliverables
• Drive decision-making by presenting options, impacts, and recommendations to customers

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 10 to 15 years of IT experience with strong customer-facing infrastructure project delivery
• Solid understanding of infrastructure domains including networking, compute, and virtualization
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux basics and platforms such as VMware or HyperV
• Understanding of storage, backup, and disaster recovery concepts
• Cloud fundamentals across Azure and AWS with hybrid environment exposure
• Familiarity with EUC, VDI, and AVD concepts
• Strong experience with project governance artifacts such as RAID logs, schedules, and dashboards
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills
• Hands-on experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, and Confluence
• Strong risk management, escalation handling, and problem-solving capabilities
• Bachelors degree in engineering, IT, or Computer Science
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (CSM/SAFe) preferred
• ITIL Foundation certification preferred
• Cloud fundamentals certification such as AZ900 or AWS Cloud Practitioner is a plus
