We are looking for a highly driven Industrial Design Engineer to join our product design and development team. This role is ideal for individuals who can blend engineering precision with design thinking, and are passionate about building real-world, manufacturable products.

You will be involved in end-to-end product development, from concept ideation and design exploration to simulation, validation, and prototypingworking closely with cross-functional engineering teams.

• Lead and support product ideation, concept development, and design refinement
• Develop detailed 3D CAD models and assemblies using SolidWorks
• Perform CFD, structural, and FEA simulations using ANSYS for design validation
• Translate concepts into manufacturable designs considering DFM, DFA, and reliability
• Work on mechanical design optimization, thermal analysis, and structural integrity
• Collaborate with electronics, embedded, and product teams for integrated system design
• Create design documentation, BOMs, and technical reports
• Support rapid prototyping, testing, and iterative design improvements
• Ensure designs align with performance, cost, and certification requirements
  

• B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Aeronautical Engineering
• OR B.Design in Product Design / Industrial Design
  

• Freshers OR 03 years of relevant experience in product design, industrial design, or mechanical design
• Exposure to R&D environments, prototyping, or product development projects is preferred
  

• Proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory)
• Strong experience in ANSYS (CFD, Structural, FEA simulations)
• Understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFR (Design for Reliability)
• Strong fundamentals in mechanics, materials, thermodynamics, and structural analysis
  

• Experience with Fusion 360, Rhino, KeyShot, or similar design/rendering tools
• Exposure to product aesthetics, ergonomics, and user-centric design
• Hands-on experience with prototyping tools and fabrication methods
  

• AI-First Design Approach (Mandatory): Ability to integrate AI tools into ideation, concept generation, simulation workflows, and rapid design iterations. Candidates must demonstrate how they use AI to accelerate design cycles, optimize simulations, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance engineering decision-making.
• Design Thinking & Problem Solving: Strong ability to break down complex design challenges and develop innovative, practical solutions.
• Engineering Rigor: Attention to detail in design validation, simulation accuracy, and manufacturability.
• Creativity with Practicality: Ability to balance aesthetics, functionality, and engineering feasibility.
• Collaboration: Comfortable working in cross-functional teams across hardware, electronics, and product domains.
• Execution & Ownership: Self-driven, proactive, and capable of taking designs from concept to prototype with minimal supervision.
