Job Title: Head Precast Division
Location: Surat
Reporting To: Managing Director
Role Purpose
To build, scale, and lead the Precast Division as an independent business unit, driving sustainable growth, profitability, and execution excellence across large-scale multistorey buildings (commercial/Institutional) infrastructure and industrial projects.
Role Summary
This role demands a business leader with end-to-end ownership of the precast verticalfrom opportunity identification and client acquisition to project execution, P&L management, and cash flow delivery. The incumbent will act as a strategic partner to the MD, ensuring the division evolves into a high-growth, high-efficiency business.
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
1. Business Growth & Order Book
Build a strong project pipeline across government/private capex projects
Achieve annual order book and revenue targets
Drive market penetration and positioning of precast solutions
2. Profitability & Commercial Excellence
Ensure project-level profitability (EBITDA margins)
Drive pricing strategy, cost optimization, and margin expansion
Approve and control project budgets and financial viability
3. Project Execution & Delivery
Ensure on-time and within-budget execution of all projects
Lead on-site plant setup & commissioning
Monitor execution through structured governance and reviews
4. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
Ensure healthy cash flow (inflows vs outflows) across projects
Drive timely billing, certification, and collections
Optimize working capital and reduce project-level financial risks
5. Capex & Procurement Leadership
Plan and execute capex investments (plant, molds, equipment)
Lead vendor negotiations ensuring cost efficiency and quality
6. Organization & Resource Management
Build and lead a high-performance team across sites and corporate
Ensure optimal manpower deployment and productivity
Strengthen cross-functional alignment
7. Stakeholder & Client Management
Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and partners
Ensure customer satisfaction, repeat business, and closures
8. Quality, Safety & Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
Drive a culture of zero-compromise on safety and compliance
9. Operational Excellence & Innovation
Improve execution efficiency, cycle time, and cost structures
Drive adoption of best practices and new precast technologies
10. Revenue Diversification (Short-Term Cash Flow)
Drive smaller, fast-moving projects (U-drains, stairs, pods, molds)
Ensure steady cash flow and reduced business risk
Success Metrics (KPIs)
Revenue growth & order book size
EBITDA margins & project profitability
On-time project completion (%)
Cash flow cycle & collection efficiency
Capex efficiency (ROI on investments)
Customer satisfaction & repeat business
Safety metrics (zero major incidents)
Ideal Candidate Profile
Exp in Precast / Construction / Infrastructure /PEB industry
Strong exposure to large-scale project execution + business leadership
Proven track record of P&L ownership
Experience in Government & Private sector project handling
Strong commercial, negotiation, and execution skills
Education
Engineering (preferably Civil/Mechanical)
MBA (preferred)
