Job Description

Mount Bell Academy is seeking a passionate and experienced German Language Trainer to conduct online classes for students at various proficiency levels (A1 to C1). The ideal candidate should have strong command over the German language, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to deliver engaging virtual lessons.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct online German language classes (A1C1 levels) for individuals or groups.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments tailored to learner needs.
• Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.
• Prepare students for Goethe, SD, TestDaF, TELC exam levels (preferred).
• Use digital tools effectively during online sessions (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
• Maintain a positive and motivating learning environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in German / Linguistics / Education (optional).
• Minimum B2 level certification in German from Goethe-Institut / SD / TELC / TestDaF.
• Strong command of German grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
• Teaching certification (e.g., TKT, Teach-the-Trainer) is an asset.
• Experience preparing students for Goethe/TELC/TestDaF examinations.

Experience

• Minimum 12 years of German language teaching experience (online or classroom).
• Experience teaching beginners and intermediate learners.
• Familiarity with online teaching tools and digital resources.

Skills Required

• Strong teaching and classroom management skills
• Ability to create engaging lesson materials
• Good presentation and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with technology and online platforms

Work Environment & Schedule

• 100% Remote
• Flexible scheduling (morning/evening batches based on student requirement)
• Part-time or full-time options available
