Our Client is 21-year-old, award-winning product engineering and industrial technology company delivering manufacturing-backed turnkey systems across Defence, Railways, Power Electronics, and Industrial Automation. A DSIR-recognised R&D Centre, they hold CMMI DEV Level 3, IRIS, ISO, and TV Nord certifications and operates at the intersection of embedded engineering, power electronics, and digital transformation.

Role Overview

We are looking for leader to head our Bengaluru product development centre and deliver embedded products based on customer specifications

Key skills required

Experience in delivering complete embedded product for Defence &/ or Railway application.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and scale a multidisciplinary R&D team, setting technical roadmaps in line with LWT's Defence and Railways product strategy
2. Oversee architecture, development, and validation of embedded systems and hardware-software integrated platforms
3. Apply rigorous systems engineering principles across safety-critical programmes
4. Engage with DRDO, BEL, HAL, RDSO, and Rail Vikas for partnerships and programme delivery
5. Drive IP creation, innovation pipeline, and R&D budget governance

Qualifications & Experience

1. B Tech/ M Tech in Electronics or Electrical
2. R&D experience in Hardware Design and Development
3. 1520 years of experience, with 5+ years in an R&D leadership role
4. Deep hands-on expertise in FPGA, embedded systems (RTOS, firmware & hardware design)
5. Proven product delivery in Defence or Railways with RDSO certification exposure preferred
