Role Description

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer specializing in Generative AI to join our team. This is a full-time remote role based in Pune, India.

In this role, you will work closely with clients, product teams, and engineering teams to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions that solve real business problems. You will help translate client requirements into working software, integrate generative AI capabilities into applications and workflows, and support the delivery of scalable, reliable solutions.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on engineering, problem-solving, client collaboration, and working with modern AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy Generative AI solutions for client and internal use cases
• Develop backend services, APIs, and integrations for AI-powered applications
• Work with LLMs, prompts, embeddings, vector databases, and AI workflows
• Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions
• Support implementation of AI/ML models and integrate them into existing systems
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize application performance
• Work with cloud platforms and modern development tools
• Participate in solution design, documentation, demos, and client discussions
• Stay updated with emerging trends in Generative AI, automation, and cloud technologies

Qualifications

• 0 to 4 years of experience in software development, backend engineering, AI/ML, or related fields
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and problem-solving
• Programming experience in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or similar languages
• Understanding of backend development, REST APIs, databases, and system integration
• Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming and coding best practices
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and model deployment
• Interest or hands-on experience with Generative AI tools, LLMs, LangChain, OpenAI APIs, RAG, or vector databases
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a distributed remote team
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Data Science, or a related field

Good To Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD, or deployment workflows
• Exposure to frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js
• Experience building chatbots, AI agents, automation tools, or document-processing solutions
• Understanding of prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation
• Prior internship or project experience in AI/ML or backend development
