Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) position at Superleap AI CRM (Bengaluru)

Role summary:

The Forward Deployed Engineer at Superleap is a high-impact, customer-facing engineering role where you work directly with enterprise clients to solve real business problems using technology.


You will be the technical subject-matter expert on Superleap CRMowning end-to-end implementation for some of the most ambitious sales teams in India. From understanding complex enterprise workflows to configuring the platform from scratch, building automations, writing custom logic, and integrating third-party toolsyou will turn business requirements into working systems.


This role is perfect for engineers who want to go beyond writing code and instead see their work drive real outcomes for large customers.


Qualifications & Experience


  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 14 years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or technical consulting, preferably within SaaS environments
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with the ability to build custom UI logic and automation workflows
  • Solid understanding of APIs, system integrations, and SaaS-based workflows
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Comfortable working directly with enterprise clients and stakeholders
  • Self-driven with a high sense of ownership and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment


Key Responsibilities


Enterprise Customer Engineering

  • Partner directly with enterprise customers to deploy and customize Superleap for their operational workflows
  • Lead in-depth technical discovery sessions to understand revenue team processes and translate them into scalable CRM architecture
  • Configure and implement the platform from the ground up for new enterprise deployments

Custom UI Development & Platform Extension

  • Develop advanced UI behaviors, workflow automations, and custom user experiences using JavaScript
  • Extend platform capabilities to support complex enterprise use cases through scripting and configuration
  • Ensure all custom solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with platform best practices

Integrations & Workflow Automation

  • Design and implement integrations between Superleap and third-party tools using APIs
  • Build automation workflows that connect systems and reduce manual operational effort
  • Maintain reliable and accurate data flow across all integrated systems

Technical Consulting & Collaboration

  • Clearly communicate technical architecture and implementation strategies to customers
  • Advise clients on best practices and long-term scalable solutions
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and implementation teams to enhance platform capabilities

Delivery Ownership & Quality Assurance

  • Own end-to-end technical delivery for assigned customer implementations
  • Conduct thorough testing and resolve issues prior to production rollout
  • Ensure each deployment delivers measurable business impact and customer value
