Role Overview

• The Associate Consultant Finance Systems, supports and enhances financial close platforms including Blackline and Oracle Financials (R12 or Cloud). This role is designed for professionals who have handson experience with finance applications and are ready to take ownership of defined processes, support close cycles, and contribute to automation and control improvements within a global finance environment..

Skill Sets

Education

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline
• Experience & Skills
• 25 years of experience supporting Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA)
• Strong understanding of RecordtoReport (R2R) and financial close processes
• Ability to independently handle operational issues and escalate complex problems
• Good communication skills for global stakeholder interaction

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage user access, role provisioning, and configurations in BlackLine & Oracle Financials
• Provide L1 functional support during BAU and close cycles
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close (GL, AP, AR, FA)
• Ensure timely completion of BlackLine reconciliations
• Resolve reconciliation issues with accounting teams
• Monitor jobs, interfaces, and data flows between Oracle & BlackLine
• Perform root-cause analysis for failures and coordinate with IT/vendors
• Support BlackLine modules (Account Reconciliation, Task Management, etc.)
• Generate reports and support audit requirements
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Audit teams; assist in training and SOPs
