About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Finance Manager who can take ownership of day-to-day finance operations, reduce dependency on the current finance function, and bring structure, control, and visibility into all financial activities.
This role is critical to ensure smooth handling of vendor payments, NBFC settlements, expense management, and financial reporting, while enabling leadership to take faster decisions.

Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Finance Operations
Manage all vendor payments (NBFC payouts, tech vendors, marketing vendors, etc.)
Ensure timely processing of bills, invoices, and settlements
Maintain proper payment schedules and tracking systems

2. Vendor & NBFC Reconciliation
Handle NBFC MIS reconciliation (disbursement vs revenue vs payouts)
Ensure accuracy in financial data across partners
Identify and resolve mismatches or leakages

3. Expense & Cost Control
Monitor company expenses vs budget
Identify areas of cost optimization
Track department-wise spend (marketing, tech, ops, etc.)

4. Financial Reporting & MIS
Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports
Provide clear visibility on:
Revenue
Expenses
Cash flow
Unit economics (CAC, revenue per user, etc.)

5. Process & System Building
Create structured finance workflows
Improve billing, approval, and payment processes
Implement basic controls to avoid errors or delays

6. Support in Decision Making
Work closely with founders to:
Provide data-backed insights
Highlight financial risks
Support business decisions with numbers

What We Are Looking For
Strong understanding of finance operations + MIS
Experience in handling vendor payments & reconciliations
Good command over Excel / Google Sheets
Basic understanding of fintech / lending / NBFC ecosystem (preferred)
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Someone who takes ownership, not just executes tasks
