Finance Associate

Job Overview:

The Associate - Finance candidate is a key member of the finance team in our advertising agency. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized individual with a strong foundation in finance and accounting. The Associate will support various financial functions, including budgeting, invoicing, reconciliation, and financial reporting. This role is crucial in ensuring the agency's financial processes are accurate, efficient, and compliant.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
• Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Ensure all financial data is entered correctly into accounting systems.
• Perform general administrative tasks to support the accounting team.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly.
• Assist in reconciling bank statements and other accounts on a regular basis.
• Prepare and process of Purchase Order
• Enter invoice data into the accounting system.
• Basic Knowledge of TDS and GST

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within an advertising agency or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
