Role & Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial records, ensuring accurate accounting, and supporting the financial close and reporting process. The incumbent is responsible for accurate financial reporting by ensuring all transactions are properly recorded, reconciled, and compliant with accounting standards.
Maintain General Ledger accuracy, including posting and reviewing journal entries
Perform account reconciliations and support month-end/year-end closing
Manage monthly provisions and accruals with proper cut-off and expense recognition
Prepare monthly MIS reports with variance analysis and insights
Handle GST compliance, including preparation and filing of returns and reconciliations
Oversee day-to-day finance operations (AP, AR, expenses), coordinate with stakeholders/auditors, and drive process improvements
Background
Qualified CA with 2+ years of relevant experience, OR
CA Inter / CMA Inter with 5–6 years of relevant experience in GL accounting, MIS, and finance operations
Strong knowledge of accounting principles
Expertise in reconciliations and financial analysis
Attention to detail and high accuracy
ERP knowledge (SAP / Oracle)
Advanced Excel skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management
