Exterior Lighting Design Engineer

Job Role: Exterior Lighting Design Engineer

Work Experience: 3 to 5 Years

Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and development of automotive exterior lighting systems (headlamps, tail lamps)
• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using CATIA
• Work on plastic components for interior and exterior applications
• Ensure design feasibility considering injection molding and tooling constraints
• Perform design validation and support product lifecycle activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, tooling, and quality

Required Skills:

• Experience in automotive lighting design (Headlamp / Tail lamp mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of plastic component design
• Hands-on expertise in CATIA (surface & solid modeling)
• Understanding of injection molding processes
• Exposure to automotive domain
