Job Description
Job Role: Exterior Lighting Design Engineer
Work Experience: 3 to 5 Years
Location: Chennai
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and development of automotive exterior lighting systems (headlamps, tail lamps)
- Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using CATIA
- Work on plastic components for interior and exterior applications
- Ensure design feasibility considering injection molding and tooling constraints
- Perform design validation and support product lifecycle activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, tooling, and quality
Required Skills:
- Experience in automotive lighting design (Headlamp / Tail lamp mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of plastic component design
- Hands-on expertise in CATIA (surface & solid modeling)
- Understanding of injection molding processes
- Exposure to automotive domain
