Role Overview

The Export Manager will drive business growth in assigned international markets (initially Vietnam and Cambodia), working closely with distributors to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.

Key Responsibilities

Market Development & Sales

  • Manage and grow export business in Vietnam and Cambodia
  • Work with distributors on market penetration strategies
  • Achieve revenue targets with 34X growth in 3 years
  • Conduct market visits to assess performance and competition
  • Identify new product opportunities and optimize SKUs

Distributor Management

  • Build strong relationships with distributor teams
  • Monitor sales performance, stock levels, and payments
  • Coordinate promotions, launches, and marketing initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and brand standards

Operations & Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal teams (supply chain, finance, regulatory, marketing)
  • Manage export documentation and shipment tracking
  • Support regulatory submissions and product registrations
  • Prepare business reviews, forecasts, and market reports

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • MBA or equivalent (preferred)
  • Bachelors degree in Commerce/Business (mandatory)

Experience

  • 812 years in FMCG/Consumer Goods exports
  • Minimum 5 years in managerial role
  • Proven track record in export growth and distributor management
  • ASEAN market experience preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong commercial and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of export documentation and DGFT regulations
  • Ability to work independently
  • Willingness to travel internationally (810 days/month)

Preferred

  • Knowledge of foreign languages (Vietnamese, Khmer, Mandarin, Arabic, etc.)
  • Experience in Ayurveda/Herbal/Personal Care
  • Familiarity with ASEAN regulatory requirements
