Executive - Booking Desk

What is your role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Executive Booking Desk who will be responsible for coordinating vessel bookings, maintaining carrier follow-ups, and ensuring timely operational updates for smooth shipment execution. The ideal candidate should possess strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage booking operations efficiently within timelines.

Job responsibilities:

• Handle booking placement with shipping carriers as per shipment requirements.
• Coordinate and follow up with carriers for booking confirmations, vessel schedules, and Form 13 documentation.
• Track shipment movement and ensure timely ON-BOARD confirmations from carriers.
• Share booking details, vessel schedules, and cut-off timelines with internal teams promptly.
• Maintain and update booking records, trackers, and operational reports in the prescribed format.
• Regularly update the operations and sales teams regarding booking status and shipment movement. Follow up on pending bookings and ensure smooth coordination till cargo is on board.
• Build and maintain healthy professional relationships and rapport with shipping lines and carriers.
• Ensure timely vessel status updates and operational communication across departments.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for shipment-related documentation and execution support.

Proficiency in MS Excel and operational tracking formats.

Positive attitude, ownership mindset, and willingness to learn.

Education Qualification - Graduate preferable

Experience - 2-3 years
