Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented ETL Developer with strong expertise in Matillion, Snowflake, and cloud platforms (preferably GCP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and ensuring high data quality, performance, and reliability across the data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Matillion ETL to extract, transform, and load data into Snowflake on GCP.
• Optimize and troubleshoot ETL workflows to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.
• Develop and implement data quality checks and validation rules to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
• Monitor ETL jobs and pipelines, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and data latency.
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation, including data mappings, workflows, and data flow diagrams.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in data engineering, security, and governance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in ETL development and data engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Matillion ETL.
• Extensive experience working with Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
• Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, data transformations, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including star/snowflake schemas, data modeling, and schema design.
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources such as APIs, flat files, and relational databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure and their data services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with additional ETL/data integration tools.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or PySpark.
• Exposure to big data technologies like Hadoop or Apache Spark.
• Relevant certifications in Matillion, Snowflake, or cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure).
