ERP Data Migration Specialist

We at Verdantas, looking for Data Migration Specialist to join our team.

This role is responsible for securely and accurately migrating data from legacy ERP systems into Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint. Ensures data accuracy, integrity, reconciliation, and reporting readiness through strong SQL development, data analysis, and close collaboration with project and operations teams.

Candidates should have experience with at least one ERP tool such as Deltek, JDE, Oracle ERP, etc., along with hands-on data migration experience from medium to large organizations and strong SQL expertise

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project teams to define data migration requirements.
• Analyze and map data structures between legacy systems and Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint.
• Develop, test, and execute SQL-based migration scripts and procedures.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Execute production data migrations and provide post-migration support.
• Design and customize reports using Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Create and maintain workflows in Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint.

Skills:

• Technology: Advanced SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, ETL, ERP systems (Deltek, JDE, Oracle ERP), Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint
• Communication: Ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on data accuracy and validation
• Analytical Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Confidentiality: Understanding of data security and compliance requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in data migration and Microsoft SQL Server development
• Hands-on experience with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint is preferred/required
• Experience working with at least one ERP system (Deltek, JDE, Oracle ERP, etc.)
• Proven experience handling data migration projects for medium to large organizations
• Strong expertise in SQL, including writing complex queries and data transformation logic
