Equity Analyst (Freelancer)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically strong Equity Analyst (Freelancer) to support our research and data operations. This role involves analyzing financial data, evaluating companies, and generating insights that contribute to high-quality datasets and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of companies across sectors
• Analyze financial statements, annual reports, and market trends
• Build financial models and valuation frameworks (DCF, comparables, etc.)
• Interpret and structure financial data for research and AI-driven use cases
• Track industry developments, earnings reports, and macroeconomic indicators
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial datasets

Required Qualifications:

• 13 years of experience in equity research, financial analysis, or related roles
• Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation techniques
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for financial modeling
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setup

Good to Have:

• Exposure to global markets (US/India equities)
• Familiarity with financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.)
• Basic understanding of data structuring or working with large datasets
