Desktop Support Engineer (Onsite on demand)

Hi Everyone,

We are currently hiring for a Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Vadodara, Gujarat, India

Location: F&S Sales India Private Limited, Office No.503-A Fifth Floor "Ozone" Sarabhai Compound, Nr. Central Square Mall, Vikram Sarabhai Marg Vadodara 390003, Gujarat

Work Mode: This is not a full-time (5 days a week) role. It is an on-demand position, meaning whenever the client requires your support, you will need to visit the site. We will inform you a couple of days in advance so you can manage your current schedule accordingly.

Contract Type: Self-employed (B2B)

Language Requirement: Good English

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide L1/L2 desktop support (remote & onsite)
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and application issues
• Manage and update tickets in the helpdesk system
• Perform break-fix support and fault resolution
• Install, configure, and support Windows OS & MS Office
• Support printers, laptops, desktops, and peripherals
• Basic support for Mac OS (Apple devices)
• Diagnose network connectivity issues using standard tools
• Perform preventive maintenance on IT equipment
• Coordinate with vendors for complex issues (e.g., AV systems)

Required Skills & Experience:

• 23 years of experience in Desktop Support / IT Support
• Strong knowledge of Windows 710 & Office 365
• Experience with Active Directory & Group Policies (GPOs)
• Familiarity with ticketing tools and ITIL processes
• Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting & installations
• Basic understanding of networking, servers, and telecom
• Experience with mobile device management (iOS/Android)
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Certifications like CompTIA A+ / MCP are a plus
