EMIR/PDN Engineer

Job Title: EMIR / PDN Engineer (3+ Years Experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled EMIR/PDN Engineer to ensure robust power integrity and reliability of advanced semiconductor designs. The role focuses on IR drop, electromigration analysis, and power distribution network (PDN) optimization for successful tape-out.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform EMIR (Electromigration & IR Drop) analysis at block and full-chip level

Analyze and fix IR drop and EM violations to meet sign-off criteria

Design and optimize Power Distribution Network (PDN) including power grid planning

Collaborate with Physical Design teams to implement power grid improvements

Work with sign-off tools to ensure design reliability and power integrity

Debug power integrity issues and provide effective solutions

Support tape-out activities and ensure EMIR sign-off closure

Required Skills:

3+ years of experience in EMIR / PDN / Power Integrity

Hands-on experience with tools like RedHawk, Voltus, or Totem

Strong understanding of IR drop, electromigration, and power grid concepts

Knowledge of advanced technology nodes is a plus

Familiarity with physical design flow and sign-off methodology

Scripting skills (TCL/Perl/Python) are an advantage

Education:

B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics / Electrical / VLSI or related field
