Job Title: Deputy Director Projects (Greenfield Development)

Location: Dehradun

Role Overview

This role sits at the center of a Greenfield development, owning end-to-end project delivery from concept to commissioning. You will represent the client, drive governance, and ensure execution aligns with defined timelines, budgets, quality benchmarks, and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Design Leadership

• Lead master planning, design development, and technical finalization in collaboration with architects and consultants
• Ensure design intent aligns with cost, timelines, and operational requirements

Project Execution & Delivery

• Drive end-to-end execution of the Greenfield project lifecycle
• Monitor progress against schedules, budgets, and defined milestones
• Ensure adherence to project delivery frameworks and escalation protocols

Governance & Reporting

• Establish structured governance mechanisms for tracking decisions, risks, and progress
• Present periodic updates, insights, and recommendations to the Steering Committee

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Coordinate seamlessly across consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal leadership
• Lead reviews, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure accountability across stakeholders

Procurement & Contracts

• Support vendor selection, tendering processes, and contract negotiations
• Ensure commercial alignment and contract compliance throughout execution

Cost, Risk & Compliance Management

• Track project budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization opportunities
• Identify risks proactively and drive mitigation strategies
• Ensure adherence to statutory approvals, regulatory norms, and audit requirements

Quality & EHS

• Enforce QA/QC standards across all phases of construction
• Ensure strict adherence to EHS protocols and industry best practices

Commissioning & Handover

• Oversee testing, commissioning, and final project handover
• Ensure readiness for operations with complete documentation and compliance

Experience & Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Architecture (Masters degree preferred)
• 1820 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or institutional projects
• Strong exposure to Greenfield developments from concept to completion
• Prior client-side / developer-side experience is highly preferred
