Key Responsibilities:

812+ years of experience in data engineering with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake). Strong SQL and Python (PySpark) skills; working knowledge of Scala a plus.

Handson experience with medallion architecture, Delta Lake features (OPTIMIZE/ZORDER, time travel), and Snowflake features (virtual warehouses, streams/tasks, micropartitions).

Proficiency with Azure Data Factory (or similar orchestration), Gitbased CI/CD, and environment promotion.

Demonstrated performance tuning and cost management across both platforms.

Solid grasp of data governance, security, and regulatory/reporting needs (lineage, auditability, evidencebased releases).
