Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Data Modeler with strong expertise in Erwin to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level data models. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, along with a deep understanding of data architecture and database design principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models using Erwin Data Modeler
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and developers to gather and analyze data requirements
• Ensure data models align with business objectives and enterprise data strategy
• Maintain and update existing data models to support evolving business needs
• Define and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and best practices
• Perform data analysis and support data integration efforts
• Work closely with ETL and BI teams to ensure accurate data mapping and transformation
• Conduct data model reviews and ensure data quality and consistency

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 47 years of experience in data modeling and database design
• Strong hands-on experience with Erwin Data Modeler (CA Erwin)
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience in creating data dictionaries and metadata management
• Solid understanding of normalization, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing concepts
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools
• Good understanding of data governance and data quality practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Exposure to big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
• Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
