Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead enterprise data management initiatives with strong expertise in SQL and BTEQ on the Teradata platform.
- Design, develop, and maintain Abinitio-based enterprise data platform solutions.
- Build and support analytical models and enable their deployment through end-to-end data and analytics pipelines.
- Perform query tuning and optimize data processing performance for scalability and efficiency.
- Manage mainframe data processing using JCL, CA7, and control cards for batch workflows.
- Support version control and collaboration using Git and related branching strategies.
- Work within Agile and CI/CD environments, contributing to automation and streamlined delivery processes.
- Develop ETL workflows and data pipelines using Databricks and Spark 3.x, including notebooks for data ingestion and transformation.
- Support cloud data platforms, including Snowflake, ensuring proper integration and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and production-ready analytics solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in data engineering practices, automation, and system reliability.
- Support domain-specific analytical needs, including healthcare data (preferred).
Experience Required:
- 6 - 9 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or enterprise data platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience in SQL, Teradata, and Abinitio development.
- Experience working with ETL pipelines and large-scale data processing systems.
- Exposure to Spark, Databricks, and modern data engineering frameworks.
- Experience with mainframe data processing tools like JCL and CA7.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices.
- Working knowledge of Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
- Strong Python skills for data engineering tasks.
- Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
