Data Engineer/Data Analyst (8+ Years)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and data models to support analytics and reporting
• Develop scalable solutions for processing and analyzing large datasets
• Enable data accessibility and usability for business and analytics teams
• Translate business requirements into data solutions, dashboards, and actionable insights
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
• Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and efficiency
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, product, and engineering
• Support integration of advanced analytics and machine learning workflows where applicable

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in the data role
• Strong proficiency in SQL (must-have)
• Experience in data engineering (ETL, pipelines) and/or data analysis (reporting, insights)
• Good understanding of data modeling and data architecture concepts
• Experience working with large and complex datasets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with tools for data visualization or reporting (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Banking/Financial Services domain
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Familiarity with big data tools (Hadoop, Hive, Impala, or similar)
• Programming experience in Python or similar languages
• Experience working with machine learning or advanced analytics workflows
