About the Role
We are looking for a Creative Lead who can own the entire creative output of the agency, from concept to execution. This is not a pure design role. You will be responsible for developing campaign concepts, building brand narratives, guiding visual direction, and ensuring every piece of creative work that leaves the agency meets a high standard of strategic relevance and visual quality.
You will work directly with the operations manager, account managers, and client teams. This role is ideal for a senior art director or senior designer who is ready to step into a leadership position and take ownership of creative strategy across multiple client accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creative direction for all client campaigns across digital, social media, print, and video.
- Develop campaign concepts and visual narratives that align with client business objectives and target audience insights.
- Review and approve all creative output (ads, social posts, landing pages, presentations, brand collateral) before client delivery.
- Collaborate with the performance marketing team to ensure creatives are optimized for platform-specific best practices (Meta, Google, LinkedIn, YouTube).
- Build and maintain brand guidelines, design systems, and creative SOPs for the agency and its clients.
- Mentor junior designers and provide structured, actionable feedback on their work.
- Participate in client pitches and new business presentations with creative concepts and visual mock-ups.
- Conduct competitor creative audits and bring fresh references, trends, and ideas to the team regularly.
- Manage creative timelines and ensure on-time delivery without compromising quality.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, not just visual execution. We want to see ideas, not just layouts.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), and Canva.
- Solid understanding of brand strategy, positioning, and visual storytelling.
- Experience creating performance-driven ad creatives for Meta and Google platforms.
- Ability to write or co-write creative briefs and translate business objectives into visual direction.
- Strong typography, layout, and color theory fundamentals.
- Experience managing or mentoring a small design team (2 to 5 people).
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing presentations and internal creative reviews.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Basic motion graphics and video editing capability (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Understanding of UX/UI principles for landing page and website design.
- Familiarity with design thinking frameworks and their application in marketing.
- Experience with AI design tools (Midjourney, DALL-E, Figma AI features).
