Role Description

We are seeking a creative and strategic Copy Writer with proven branding agency experience to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and strategizing engaging content across multiple platforms for diverse client portfolios. Working closely with our Creative Director, Graphic Designer, and Video Editor, you'll translate client briefs into compelling brand narratives that drive engagement and align with business objectives.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Content Ideation & Strategy: Develop compelling content concepts and creative copy for digital, print, and multimedia projects
• Social Media Copywriting: Create engaging captions, hooks, and storytelling narratives for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter
• Reels & Short-Form Content: Craft compelling copy for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form video content
• Monthly Content Strategy: Create and strategize monthly social media posting plans aligned with client goals
• Collaboration: Work with designers and video editors by generating visualizations and content briefs for their projects
• Editorial Quality: Conduct editorial checks and ensure brand-consistent, error-free messaging across all platforms
• Brief Comprehension: Understand complex client briefs and translate them into powerful, targeted copy

Additional Responsibilities (Non-Mandatory)

• Social Media Handle Management: Posting, community management, and engagement
• Client Presentations: Create presentations for design approvals and client pitches
• On-Field Content: Capture content during client events for social media repurposing

Experience and Education

• Minimum 4 years of professional copywriting experience
• At least 3 years in a branding or creative agency environment
• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field
• Strong portfolio demonstrating social media copywriting across multiple platforms and industries

Core Skills

• Exceptional English language proficiency with impeccable grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• Creative copywriting ability with proven talent for crafting engaging hooks and storytelling narratives
• Ability to adapt writing style and tone to match diverse brand voices and target audiences
• Ability to write for website, brochures and other marketing communication channels
• Deep understanding of social media trends, platform-specific requirements, and content optimization
• Familiarity with Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and short-form video content trends
• Knowledge of social media analytics (Instagram Insights, Facebook Analytics, Google Analytics)
• Understanding of SEO principles for social media content
• Familiarity with trending audio, hashtags, and viral content mechanics

Qualifications

• Marketing background and understanding of digital marketing trends
• Experience creating copy for corporate clientele
• Proven engagement results on social media platforms
