Skill Requirement

1. Technical & Platform Skills

• Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Author environment.
• Ability to navigate AEM consoles (Sites, Assets/DAM, Components, Workflows).
• Understanding of AEM components, templates, page properties, and content hierarchy.
• Experience with authoring, editing, publishing, and unpublishing pages.
• Digital Asset Management (DAM) skills:
• Uploading, organizing, tagging, replacing, and deleting assets.
• Basic understanding of:
• Content workflows
• Versioning and rollbacks
• Environment differences (Author vs Publish)
• Familiarity with basic web concepts (HTML structure awareness, links, images, responsive layouts).

2. Content & Editorial Skills

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate content entry and formatting.
• Ability to interpret client or business requirements and translate them into content updates.
• Understanding of content governance rules, including:
• Brand guidelines
• Content structure
• Naming conventions
• Awareness of accessibility best practices (e.g., alt text, headings, readable content).
• Ability to maintain consistency and quality across pages and sections.

3. Functional & Process Skills

• Capable of performing first-level troubleshooting, such as:
• Broken links
• Missing assets
• Component misconfiguration
• Publishing issues

4. Communication & Collaboration Skills

• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Actively and attentively listen to others to fully understand requirements, feedback, and concerns.
• Ability to request clarification when requirements are unclear.
• Professional interaction with:
• Clients or business users
• Developers
• QA and support teams
• Ability to escalate issues effectively with relevant context and evidence.

5. Organizational & Time Management Skills

• Ability to manage multiple content tasks and deadlines.
• Prioritize requests based on urgency and business impact.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the CMS (pages and assets).
