Learn more about: Customer Your work profile Yugabyte DB Engineer We are looking for a skilled Yugabyte DB Engineer to design, deploy, and manage distributed SQL database environments. The role involves ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical applications using YugabyteDB . Key Skills required Deploy, configure, and manage YugabyteDB clusters in cloud/on-prem environments Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery Work closely with application teams for database design and integration Automate routine DBA tasks using scripting/tools Handle upgrades, patching, and capacity planning Implement security, backup, and data governance practices 3-5 years of experience in database engineering/administration Hands-on experience with YugabyteDB / distributed SQL databases Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL / Cassandra concepts Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) Good understanding of HA/DR, replication, and sharding Scripting knowledge (Shell / Python) Familiarity with Kubernetes / containerized environments is a plus Good to Have Experience in BFSI or large enterprise environments Exposure to DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines) Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Good communication with cross-functional teams
