Cleanroom Project Engineer

TheCleanroom ProjectEngineer will lead theend-to-end execution of modular cleanroom installation, including planning, installation, commissioning, and client handover. This role requires strong expertise incleanroom construction, modular systems, and site execution, ensuring projects are deliveredon time, in compliance with ISO cleanroom standards (ISO 5ISO 8).

The role provideshands-on exposure to advanced Cleanroom manufacturing infrastructure projects in Semiconductor, Li-Ion battery cell plants, and Solar manufacturing facilities, offering unique opportunities to developspecialized expertise in a niche and high-growth industry segment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

• Leadon-site installation and execution of modular cleanroom systems, including wall panels, ceiling grids, covings, doors, viewing panels and equipment.
• Manage daily site activities and ensure adherence toproject schedules, safety protocols, and installation quality standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors for seamless project execution.

Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop detailedproject timelines, milestones, and resource planning.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address potential delays or technical challenges.
• Ensure projects are delivered withindefined timelines and budget constraints.

Technical & Quality Compliance

• Ensure installation complies withISO 14644 cleanroom standards and industry best practices.
• Monitorpanel sealing integrity, structural alignment, and contamination control requirements.
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and installation layouts.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate withMEP teams, HVAC engineers, and facility contractorsto ensure proper integration of lighting, utilities, and cleanroom infrastructure.
• Coordinate closely withclients, consultants, and project stakeholdersto resolve site challenges.

Resource & Cost Management

• Managesite manpower, subcontractors, equipment, and materialsto optimize efficiency.
• Track project budgets, manage procurement schedules, and control site expenses.
• Ensure timely processing ofvendor payments and cost documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelors degree OR Diploma inMechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineer, or related discipline

Experience

• 2-6 years of experiencein cleanroom construction, modular panel systems, or advanced Cleanroom facility infrastructure projects
• Experience working onhigh-Tech Cleanroom manufacturing Facilitysuch as:
• Semiconductor Manufacturing facilities
• Battery cell manufacturing plants
• Solar Cell manufacturing facilities
• Pharmaceutical or life-sciences cleanrooms

Technical Expertise

• Knowledge ofISO 14644 cleanroom standards
• Experience withmodular cleanroom materialssuch as Aluminum Honey comb, PUF, Rockwool, and HPL architecture products
• Strong understanding ofcleanroom systems and contamination control

Software Skills

• AutoCAD for drawing review
• MS Project / MS Excel for project tracking and planning

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Successfulproject completion within timeline and budget
• Zero-defect cleanroom installationand successful cleanroom validation
