Job Description

MAS Foods is a legacy South Indian food brand built on the belief that traditional ingredients and recipes still belong in modern kitchens. For decades, MAS products such as Badam Drink Mix, Gulab Jamun Mix and traditional health mixes have been trusted by families across South India. Unlike many modern food startups that begin in metro cities, MAS has grown by serving the real heart of India Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns, where traditional food habits and family consumption still shape everyday choices. As the brand enters its next phase, MAS is strengthening its presence in these markets while building the foundation to take the brand to Tier 1 cities and global Indian communities.


Role Overview:

This is a hands-on brand building role focused on shaping how MAS shows up across packaging, communication, ecommerce and retail channels. You will work closely with the founders to deepen MASs connection with consumers in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, while helping introduce the brand to Tier 1 consumers through modern storytelling and digital platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

Build and execute MAS Foods brand strategy across product lines.

Shape the brand narrative around heritage, South Indian tradition and everyday nutrition.

Ensure consistency across packaging, retail, ecommerce and marketing communication.

Strengthen MASs relevance in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets.

Support the brands introduction to Tier 1 consumers.

Plan and execute brand campaigns across digital, retail and creator channels.

Build storytelling around traditional ingredients, family recipes and regional food culture.

Manage agencies, content partners and creative collaborators.

Support brand presence across Amazon and ecommerce platforms.

Work with founders on packaging updates and new product launches.


Skills and Qualifications:

48 years of experience in FMCG, D2C or consumer food brands.

Experience working on brand campaigns, product launches or packaging.

Understanding of consumer behaviour across Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 1 markets.

Comfortable working closely with founders in a growing company.

Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
