Principal Data Engineer (IC) RealTime Data Platform (Azure)
Experience: 12+ years (4+ years on largescale production data platforms)
MustHave Skills
- Strong handson experience with realtime / streaming data systems
- Azure data stack:
- Databricks / Spark, Event Hubs, ADLS Gen2, Delta Lake
- Expertise in eventdriven architectures with focus on latency, ordering, and reliability
- Python / PySpark / SQL for productiongrade data pipelines
- Experience operating highavailability, distributed systems in production
- Strong incident handling, RCA, and system observability experience
- Deep understanding of data consistency, failure scenarios, and performance optimization
- Handson experience with PII, GDPR, security, and compliancedriven data platforms
- Ability to communicate technical issues in business terms
- Proven individual contributor who can deliver independently in complex environments
